Grace & Holy Spirit Church

Grace and Holy Spirit Church is an Episcopal and ELCA Lutheran congregation in the heart of Cortland, New York.  The church  is located next to the central firehouse and just up from city hall and the police department. Grace and Holy Spirit is home to Cortland Loaves and Fishes, which serves a hot meal five days a week and a sack lunch on Saturdays. We also host a number of 12-Step meetings throughout the week and sponsor The Arts at Grace, a free community music program. 

As a worshiping community, Grace and Holy Spirit uses both Episcopal and Lutheran liturgies, has a choir at its second service on a Sunday, and has an active Sunday School during the second service. The church has a lay pastoral care committee, composed of Episcopal and Lutheran members, which makes visits and shares Holy Communion as an extension of the Sunday service. There is also a mid-week Holy Eucharist on Sunday.
