St. Luke's Episcopal Church
Share a story
For more than 60 years, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has lived out Christ’s call to love and serve Him and our fellow man, maintaining the Anglican tradition of our founding. We are an Episcopal community of believers, united by generations of families committed to passing on their faith, through ministries that reach out to our members and our community at large, and through the abiding guidance of the Holy Spirit. Saint Luke's is committed to caring for one another, spiritual growth, and bringing others closer to God through Jesus Christ.

Guest House Ministry
This group offers fellowship and a connection to St. Luke's by visiting the Guest House Nursing Home on Florida Boulevard for Bible Study every Thursday at 10:30 am with Deacon Reese, and every other Friday at 10 am. Communion is provided to nursing home residents not able to come to church.
Mission & Outreach Committee
Following our baptismal covenant to “seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves,” the Mission & Outreach Committee is charged with discerning the parish’s call in the community and providing members of St. Luke’s the opportunity to contribute their time, talent, and treasure outside the church parish.
