Welcome to St. Mary's Church, a small parish with a big heart!  We invite you to visit our church to experience the warmth and faith of our parish family. We worship each Sunday morning at 9:00 in Springfield Center, New York, in a beautiful shingle style, Gothic church built in 1889. St. Mary's is located on Route 80 just one mile north of Glimmerglass Opera. Many of the people who come to our region are tourists who visit to enjoy the beauty of the area or to enjoy the Opera or the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Travelers are often with us and are more than welcome.

St. Mary’s, Springfield Center, is a friendly parish of open-minded people from a variety of religious traditions and backgrounds. The first Episcopal services were held in Springfield Center in 1875 in the Universalist Church. The congregation then built a Gothic shingle style church, a Queen Anne style rectory, and an arts and crafts style parish hall originally built to house a small convent and school. This stucco parish house houses the Chapel of the Holy Child appointed with needlework exhibited at the 1898 World’s Fair. Today St. Mary’s maintains its historic buildings while supporting many local, national, and international ministries. The mission of St. Mary’s is “a diverse community working together to share the Good News of God’s love.”
