St. Michael's Episcopal Church began in the late 1950's and the basic block building was built about 1963. In the early 80's, a St. Joseph Carpenter Guild, formed by the members, built an addition to the front of the church, and then a few years later built a new parish hall with two Sunday School rooms, a nursery and kitchen at the back of the church. This increased the size of the building to over 5,000 square feet. In 2004, the worship area was remodeled and eight stained glass memorial windows were installed. The altar furniture was build by two members of the congregation.
