Volunteer opportunities
Christ Church Trumbull seeks to clothe the needy and feed the hungry. Our outreach ministries include donating food to the Trumbull Food Pantry and food and clothing to St. John's Food Pantry. We sponsor community suppers at Calvary St. George in Bridgeport. We also make annual donations of needed items to Integrated Refugee and Immigration Services (IRIS). Our holiday outreach efforts include donating food to local food pantries at Thanksgiving, giving gifts of warm winter clothing to the clients of The Prospect House in Bridgeport, and donating toys and personal gift items to the McGivney Community Center Christmas Store. Our outreach chairpersons research and commit to a variety of local charities through the year.

2020 Episcopal Evangelism Grant Recipient - Hiking Church
At its January 2021 virtual meeting, the Executive Council of The Episcopal Church awarded $33,800 in Evangelism Grant funding to twelve Episcopal communities.
