Calvary’s centering prayer group meets via Zoom at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. We are eager to welcome new members.
Centering prayer is a contemplative practice that has particular resonance during this time of social distance and upheaval. In centering prayer, we quiet our minds and, through meditative silence, empty our Selves so the Holy Spirit can enter in. The practice strengthens our connection to God, building resilience and wholeness not only for ourselves but for the larger community. Each meeting includes 20 minutes of centering prayer and a short and simple discussion component.
If you are not a church, then list the times of the other services that you provide.
