2025 Becoming Beloved Community Grant Recipient - Culinary Futures

Culinary Futures, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Kansas City, The Episcopal Church in West Missouri ($10,000)  

This project seeks to expand the church’s partnership with the Culinary Futures Workforce Development Program, which trains individuals for careers in the culinary arts while preparing over 500 nutritious meals each day in the Nourish KC Community Kitchen. It equips students, most of whom are from historically marginalized communities, with industry-recognized skills, hands-on training, and direct pathways into stable employment.
