Trinity was founded in 1907, in the county seat of Bulloch County. The city has increasingly become a college town with the growth of Georgia Southern University, where the church has long been involved in campus ministry. Trinity called the Rev. Joan Kilian in 2002 to serve as Rector. The Rev. Deacons Steve Darby and Natalie Whittle are assigned to the parish. 41,213 people live in a five-mile radius of Trinity.
Signature Event—Relay for Life Auction held 4 - 6 weeks prior to the actual relay for life has become a community tradition. Cancer survivors and persons who support Relay for Life, regardless of the denomination, have been attending this event faithfully for many years. There is an auction for designated items and a silent auction for other "treasures". It is a time-honored tradition.
Signature Ministry—Rebecca's Cafe is a joint effort with Trinity and other churches in the Statesboro area. It provides meals to indigent persons residing in Statesboro and Bulloch County area. Thanksgiving Day is a special event due to the fact that many do not have a family to celebrate this day with.
