EDAT is a cooperative project of the three Episcopal Churches in Thomasville, GA.

It is committed to the revitalization of the Stevens Street historic district. This African American neighborhood has been the home of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church which until the 1950s ran a much respected day school for local students.

EDAT's efforts include rehabilitation of physical structures, health and wellness initiatives, education and employment.

Founded in 2013, funding has been received from the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia, the National Episcopal Church and local individuals and foundations. Already an active Board of Directors has encouraged volunteer efforts which have renovated the old vicarage as a community center,  and planted a community garden.
