Christ Church

Our Christ Church family is centered on the unconditional love of God given all of us in Jesus Christ—as the Apostle Paul wrote, “God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). This unconditional love of God is at the heart of our vision — “To weave together diverse people, empowering all to share the love of Christ in the world.” In short, we seek to preach the gospel, love one another, and follow the Holy Spirit. All of this is captured in this powerful collect from The Book of Common Prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen. (p. 101).
