About Episcopal Diocese of Georgia

There are 70 congregations in the Diocese of Georgia from as far south as Kingsland to Augusta in the north, Quitman County in the west and Savannah in the east. Christ Church Savannah, the "mother church" of Georgia, was founded in 1733 and an early Rector was John Wesley. A history of the Diocese can be found here.
