Stone Church Center comprises two organizations. The Stone church Arts concert series was founded by Eugene Friesen, Rev. Margaret Crane and Robert McBride in 2004. Immanuel Retreat Center was started by Gloria Mansfield and Robert Bowler in 2013.  Both organizations offer programs in the music, but Immanuel Retreat Center also presents residential workshops, retreats, films and quiet days in spirituality, the arts and other topics.

The Center is on almost seven acres of land on a hill above the main square of the village of Bellows Falls, Vermont. The property includes Immanuel Episcopal Church with its attached Parish House, the Retreat House for residential use and Currier Hall which includes day use conference and dining space.

Immanuel Episcopal Church is a treasure designed by one of Amercia's best-known Gothic revival architects, Richard Upjohn. The wheel-chair accessible building is a perfect example of the French country Gothic style of about the 14th century. The church was completed in 1867.

The Church Sanctuary seats up to 200 people as a worship, performance or lecture space. The sanctuary's excellent acoustics have been noted by musicians and audiences alike and has been the space for Stone Church Arts concerts since 2004. It is home to a nine foot Steinway concert grand piano.

The Chapel, part of the main church building, provides a spiritually oriented space for group work. The Chapel holds up to 50 people theater style, 20 in a circle or 10-12 around a conference table. It is furnished with comfortable chairs, An LCD projector along with speakers and a large projection screen are available.

The Undercroft, also part of the church building, has a professional kitchen as well as a dining room that can serve up to 100 people for a sit-down meal.

The Retreat House was built in 1847 for the sum of $1,000. It sleeps up to thirteen people. There is also a living room with adjoining dining room (seats up to 16 people), and a spacious kitchen. There are three and a half bathrooms including a handicapped accessible bathroom on the first floor. It sleeps 10-14 people in six bedrooms.

Currier Hall provides space for day use. Downstairs, there is main meetings room and the Schattner Library as well as dining space for 20 people. There is a small kitchen off the dining room. Upstairs there are four bedrooms  which, when eventually fully renovated, will add six beds to the residential guest accommodations available in the Retreat House.
