Provides the services of a parish nurse, who has worked locally and been deployed as a Red Cross Nurse in disaster.  As a pastoralcare team, we are led by a rector and assistant rector, and are engaged in hospital(primarily Norwalk Hosp) and home visitation of parishioners.  We and others in the community provide food for the local and nearby homeless shelter.  We include a team of lay Eucharistic Visitors, prayer shawl ministry, outreach to Habitat for Humanity and St. John's Church in Bridgeport. We provide home cooked meals to the bereaved and recently discarged from the hospital.

We are regulary in touch with the local interfaith community, local public health, Red Cross, Medical Reserve Corps.

We collect and loan medical equipment, such as crutches,wheelchairs, walkers, canes, commodes and shower stools.

There are currently 21 12 Step Meetings taking place on the church campus during the week.

We offer a bereavement support group when the need arises.

There is a weekly midweek Healing Service and Eucharist, Wedesdays at noon, as well as 2-3 liturgies on Sundays, depending on the tme of year.

Over the last 11 years, we have hosted wellness workshops;2 health fairs,;lectures on topics such as advanced directives and planning, diabetes prevention; disaster preparedness; LifeLine Screening; monthly blood pressure screening.

Saturday, August 29  ERD will be offering a Disaster Preparedness Workshop from 10 to noon at Chrt& HolyTrinity.
