Crossroads Ministry of Estes Park

Share a story

We are a Christian Service Organization that provides short-term assistance to clientele in the Estes Valley. Our mission is to exhibit the love of God through caring concern of neighbor and community, by ministering to the basic Human needs of low income and working poor individuals and families, and by promoting self-sufficiency to clients who need continuing assistance. We provide non-judgmental love and care in the form of temporary emergency help with food, medical needs, partial rent, short-term lodging, utilities, transportation, laundry and shower, self-sufficiency instruction, literacy classes and referrals.

Crossroads Ministry began as a food pantry established by St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church (St. Bart's) in 1982, following the Lawn Lake flood that damaged many areas of the Estes Valley. By 1985, the St. Bart's congregation realized that community need for temporary assistance surpassed the support a single church could provide. Today, 15 local churches and service organizations provide support for Crossroads.
