Common Cathedral/Ecclesia Colorado

Ecclesia Colorado-- Common Cathedral offers a simple worship service of song, scripture, prayer, peace, and table fellowship each Friday evening year round in Collyer Park near downtown Longmont. The service is open to all but aimed especially at those who call the street their home.

The Rev. Deacon Marc Genty founded this ministry in May of 2008 and continues to provide leadership and day-to-day direction. From the beginning, Common Cathedral has been an ecumenical ministry drawing leadership and support from a number of Christian churches throughout the Front Range region. However, the primary sponsorship does come from the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado. Common Cathedaral is not only a Jubilee Ministry, but is also a Special Congregation in the Diocese. The sponsoring parish for Common Cathedral is St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Fort Collins, where Marc served as the deacon. Ecclesia Colorado--Common Cathedral is also part of the much larger network of Ecclesia Ministries that serves to connect "street churches" throughout the United States, Europe, and Latin America.
