About Diocese of Wyoming
We are a diocese comprised of 48 congregations, Hank Raymond wilderness camp, Thomas Apostle Center, the diocesan office in Casper, Wyoming, and most importantly, we are thousands of faithful Episcopalians.
Congregations throughout our diocese are making a difference in the lives of those in their local communities, as well as, those in other parts of the country and the world. Our congregations run thrift shops, support missionaries, feed and clothe the homeless, and let our neighbors know that they are loved. Just as important, we gather together each Sunday, give thanks for all that we have and all that we are, and worship our Lord.
I believe at our core we are people who seek to faithfully serve our Lord and those with whom we have been given the opportunity to share the grace filled intersections that this life brings to us. God is found at the intersection of time and eternity–that intersection is found in the present moment, evidence of that intersection is visible all over the state and for that I give thanks. I hope you will take the time to discover the Good News of Christ Jesus found in the people, congregations and ministries of the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming.
Warmly,
+ John S. Smylie
Bishop of Wyoming
