OUR VISION OF WHO WE WANT TO BECOME:  St. Christopher's is a diverse Christian community spanning all ages, abilities, ethnicity, and backgrounds that celebrates as we come together for worship, fellowship, study, and service.  We love because Christ loved us first and we actively share this love by serving our general community."

The name, Christopher, means Christ-bearer. In our own way, we the people of St. Christopher’s try to follow the example of our patron by being Christ bearers for one another and for the community in which we live. Like our patron, we seek to serve Christ through our worship, fellowship and service. This is in keeping with our baptismal promise to, seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself.

The Community

The town of Bandera lies approximately 50 miles northwest of San Antonio. It is the county seat of Bandera County. A mixture of ranching, tourism, hunting, fishing and, increasingly, retirement households supports the area’s economy. Bandera is the site of numerous outdoor festivals and is known as the ‘Cowboy Capital of the World.’
