St. Anne's

Share a story

“As a community of Faith, let us go forward, to bring others to Christ through Worship, Witness, and Love for one another and our neighbor.”

St. Anne’s is a welcoming, inclusive church. We actively serve our community and participate in a number of outreach projects. We strive to share Christ's love with the world. Many of us met our best friends at St. Anne's. But unlike the friend who lives down the street or works in the same office, we share a deeper connection because we worship together. We hold one another up in times of sorrow. We laugh together in times of joy. Our friendships are deep and meaningful because they are grounded in our common faith in God. We welcome you to our expanding community of faith.

Ours is a legacy of inclusion. We aspire to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being. We believe that God loves you – no exceptions.

Ministries

Cain Commons Ministry

Shelter and Housing

St. Anne’s is working in partnership with Mission First and their affiliated management company Columbus Management in providing affordable senior housing. The building Cain Commons, located on St. Anne’s campus, is scheduled to open in October 2023 and is expected to house 75 to 90 residents. St. Anne’s partners with Cain Commons to minister with the residents and the local Damascus and Clarksburg community.

Community Concert Series

Arts & Culture

Offers seasonal monthly concerts (September through June) of local and national acts. Concerts are free to the community and offer a reception afterwards to meet the artists.

St. Clare's Guild

Arts & Culture

St. Clare's Guild is an arts ministry that creates gifts for members of the congregation both to provide comfort and mark milestones.

These include prayer shawls and prayer lap robes for people who are sick or have experienced the loss of a loved one, cross-stitched pillows for infants and children who are baptized, afghans for high school graduates and handcrafted wooden crosses for confirmands and adult bapistmal candidates. Each gift is wrapped in prayer for the recipient.

We also create and sell clerical stoles and chasubles with the proceeds benefiting St. Anne's ministries.

Food Pantry

Food Pantries

St. Anne's buys, packs and delivers food boxes for 65 families every two weeks, in partnership with a local food pantry.
