Our facility consists of a brick building built in the 1970s and a wooden structure housing our parish hall. Our sanctuary seats approximately 150 persons and is used primarily for Sunday worship services. The building is also used for community events including choir concerts and community gatherings. Our parish hall has a capacity of approximately 90 persons and includes a fully equipped kitchen and pantry.

Advocacy

St. Jude's opens its doors for community events including concerts, theatrical productions and other community activities. Our facility is home to youth choirs and community arts groups. Among the groups that use our facility are the Village Voices, the Cedar City Children's Choir, and a local theatre company.

Labyrinth Ministry

Faith Formation

St. Jude's is home to the only permanent indoor labyrinth in Southern Utah. Certified facilitators and trained docents are available to assist individuals and groups in experiencing the inner peace and well-being provided through this wonderful spiritual tool. The labyrinth is frequently used by the cancer patients and clients of the Cedar City Women's Crisis Center.

Nature Ministry

Creation Care/Community Gardens

St. Jude's sponsors a monthly nature hike to areas of natural beauty found in nearby state and national parks. These hikes, conducted year-round by members of the St. Jude's congregation, help participants develop an appreciation for natural beauty and a sense of the grandeur of God's creation. The importance of protecting our natural resources and being good stewards of God's creation is emphasized.

Arts and Culture Ministry

Arts & Culture

St. Jude's partners with the Utah Shakespeare Festival (USF) and the Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA) to provide cultural and artistic opportunities for members of St. Jude's and the larger community. During the summer months, tours of SUMA, guided by local artists, are offered. St. Jude's partners with the Utah Shakespeare Festival to provide an annual "Service from the Time of William Shakespeare" and British Tea. These event are widely attended by visitors to the USF and members of the community. St. Jude's also hosts an annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration and other cultural events.
