Open Doors ~ Open Hearts ~ Open Minds
Sunday Worship is at 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Boca Grande, Florida, stands as a beacon of faith and community amidst the serene coastal surroundings of Gasparilla Island. Nestled among swaying palm trees and lush greenery, its timeless charm and spiritual tranquility have welcomed people through its red doors for more than a century.
Its welcoming congregation, comprised of locals and visitors alike, gathers for worship services, fellowship events, and charitable outreach. “We offer a variety of services and programs to nurture the spiritual growth of our members and reach out to the wider community. From traditional Sunday worship services to special events, small group offerings, large format guest-speaker presentations and outreach initiatives…there are opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with their faith and connect with others,” says Mother Michelle Robertshaw, priest and rector.
Its newly restored Memorial Garden, complete with a full-sized labyrinth and colorful landscaping, also offers a sacred sanctuary from the busy-ness of everyday life.
Beyond its role as a place of worship, St. Andrew's is also deeply involved in serving the needs of the community. Whether through charitable outreach, social justice initiatives, or educational programs, the church seeks to make a positive impact on the lives of those in Boca Grande, the wider community and around the world.
