Traditional Episcopal worship following either Morning Pray or Holy Eucharist, Rite II from the Book of Common Prayer. Hymns from The Hymnal 1982, accompanied by pipe organ or piano. Comfortable and come-as-you-are atmosphere. We also welcome several dogs each week that attend with their humans. (And the Deacon has dog biscuits!)

HUB - Helping Urban Bicyclists

Donation Coordination/Distribution

Repair and grants of bicycles to homeless, street folks. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00-4:00.

Public restrooms and showers (with attendant)

Care for our unhoused brothers and sisters.

A shower and restroom trailer is hosted in our parking lot in partnership with the Downtown Stockton Alliance (DSA). It offers a dignified place for the homeless community. There is always an attendant on duty while open. M-F, 8:30-3:00.

Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Service

Laundry Service

Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Service is hosted in our parking lot on Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:00-3:00. All are welcome to drop off their laundry which is then washed and dried by the service. First come, first served.

San Joaquin County Health Bus

Aging, Health and Wellbeing

The County Health Bus is at St. John's each Wednesday from 9:00-2:30, offering vaccinations, health screenings, blood pressure checks, and other health related services. Open to anyone.

Mercy Pedalers

Outreach to Homeless Community

The HUB (Helping Urban Bicyclists) sponsors the Mercy Pedalers. A ministry of presence based on the Works of Mercy and powered by people who pedal three-wheel bicycles through the streets of Stockton connecting with people who are experiencing homelessness, sharing with them hot coffee, socks, hats, gloves, and toiletries.
