St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

Share a story

St. Andrew's of Roswell is much more than a brick-and-mortar building.  Our church exists and works within and outside the walls. With an expansive history of service to community throughout our 120-year history, the people of St. Andrew's continue to foster and nurture a sense of community built on the Gospel (Matt 25), and the tenets of our Baptismal Covenant. While downtown Roswell may have undergone changes across the decades, we will not waiver from this commitment.  Now, more than ever, we are embracing our unique role as a downtown church, a bridge between neighborhoods, and a facilitator of growth and sustainability across our shared community.  Our commission is simple, repeated often throughout the Scriptures: (1) love thy neighbor, (2) do not neglect hospitality, (3) contribute to the needs of the saints, (4) be hospitable to one another, and (5) fear not.  We welcome all, valuing the gifts all bring and serving all.  We work jointly with faith-based and other community partners to improve the quality of life for all residents of Roswell, and we work daily to walk the faith as full members of the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement.
