Church of the Epiphany

The Church of the Epiphany has been a mission church in the Diocese of the Rio Grande for 125 years. We are a small but vibrant congregation--typically about 50 to 60 worshiping on Sunday morning. We love music, and have not only an historic pipe organ and a Steinway grand piano, but also an eclectic "folk mass" group featuring guitar, mandolin, flute and cello. Epiphany values lay contributions to worship and governance. We are located directly across from the New Mexico Tech campus, so there are many students, faculty and staff in our congregation--but also ranchers, artists, and teachers. We are known in Socorro and the surrounding communities for our music, our openness to inquiry in our faith journey, our hospitality to other groups which use our facility, and our dedication to outreach.
