St. Christopher's Episcopal Church

Worship is at the center of parish life. Participation of the congregation is primary. Worship utilizes the Book of Common Prayer and includes substantial preaching. Music is the best of our Anglican tradition and broadened by the use of other hymnals, Wonder, Love, and Praise, LEVAS II , with choir supporting the singing of the congregation and enhancing worship with choral anthems. On high feasts, priest chants and incense is used. Psalmody is important and the ministry of the cantor is highly valued. Congregational singing is primary.

This liturgy uses the Book of Common Prayer, Rite II. It is the full celebration of Holy Eucharist without music. This is a small gathering of faithful worshipers and we welcome all who wish to join us in prayer.
