The Church of the Holy Trinity

Share a story

The Mission of the Church of the Holy Trinity is to be a visible and vibrant body of Christ open and welcoming to all. We are committed by our faith in God to nurture each other on our lifelong journey of discernment, and to be dedicated to healing, witness and service so that all who enter our doors may discover a deeper relationship with God.

As a merged congregation with the Church of the Ascension, an African American church, the Church of the Holy Trinity consists of approximately 200 families that are diverse in background and joined together in Christ's love. We are deeply committed to serving those beyond our doors as well as each other.

Outreach is in our blood: From the Friday Night Supper that has fed those in need for over thirty years; to our support of the Chester Children's Chorus; to our connection with the Sisters of St. Margaret, and their mission in Haiti, to many, many more, Holy Trinity reaches out from the local to the international.

Ministry through music has been deeply rooted in the community for over a hundred years.

Holy Trinity is also a place where children, youth and families are treasured and treated as full members of Christ’s Body through our Family Formation and J2A (Journey to Adulthood) ministries.
