ALL ARE WELCOME...
Hearing these simple words of greeting means you are about to participate in Christian fellowship with a friendly, inclusive congregation. St. Mark's has become known for extending a warm welcome to all people regardless of who they are. Before God, we all are equals and stand in the need of grace. We all are a part of God's family and all are welcome to worship, pray and work toward fulfilling God’s mission here at St. Mark’s.

Kairos
Kairos Outside is designed to support the families of men and women who are or have been incarcerated in the country's state and federal correctional facilities, as well as county jails and youth offender programs. The spouses, parents and other relatives of the incarcerated often "do time" right along with their loved ones. It is important for them to know that they are not alone and that there is a Christian community that cares.
This support is first provided in a safe environment with Christian people during a Kairos Outside weekend. During this weekend, the guests will also have a chance to interact with other women who are in similar situations and learn how to form small groups to support and give them strength in their life's journey.
Kairos Outside at MCI weekends are conducted for female family or loved ones of those incarcerated. The purpose of Kairos Outside is to demonstrate God's grace and love through Christian support for women who have loved ones who are or who have been incarcerated.
Family Game Time
Family Game Night is several times throughout the year. This is a time where families and friends can spend time together in a Christian manner and just have fun! We do a variety of activities such as video games, board games, movie nights, pool parties, water slides, etc.
This has become a great outreach opportunity for St. Mark's as well. A time for families, children, and adults to experience God's love and St. Mark's community before actually coming to church.
We would invite you to come join us!
GED Program
St. Mark's is host to several education classes. The GED program is the process of earning the equivalent of your high school diploma. GED candidates are required to study for, take, and pass tests that measure high-school level skills and knowledge. The Ohio GED is a stepping-stone towards a better future. For more information, please contact the Upper Valley JVS.
English as a Second Language Program
The ESOL (English for speakers of other languages), is thought in the church basement. The ESOL program at St. Mark's prepares non-native English-speakers to obtain employment, increase work-related skills to obtain a better job, and citizenship. The program prepares students to continue their education in degree or certificate programs.
