Welcome to the Church of the Good Shepherd in Lyndhurst, Ohio. We worship on Sundays at 10 am. Our service has Bible readings, a sermon, the bread and the wine, with music; in the Anglican tradition. One of the hallmarks of our worship is a joyous blend of traditional and current music. Young children can stay with parents in the service or attend Sunday School. Wardrobe is comfortable, ranging from casual to slightly formal. Church is not filled with guilt but with God’s overwhelming love for us and our growing love for Him.
High-school youth will care for babies and toddlers in the library, while parents worship near-by. Radio broadcast (101.3 FM) of the service is available for parents who choose to stay to play with their children in the library

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
OCC began in 1993 when Samaritan’s Purse, an aid organization requested shoeboxes filled with gifts to distribute in war-torn Bosnia. Since then, OCC has grown to be the largest international children’s ministry of its kind. Last year, there were over 7.6 million shoeboxes collected, which were delivered in over 90 countries: to refugee camps, orphanages, war-torn areas and other desperate situations. The children who receive these boxes are often living in abject poverty and have never received a gift. These shoe boxes filled with a few small gifts become a moment of joy and a reason for hope for millions of children who have little of either.
