St. Paul's Church, Chestnut Hill

Share a story

A small church that loves to sing and fellowship, Saint Paul's is located in the Chestnut Hll community of Salisbury, NC.  A historic church, our present Sanctuary dates to 1897 with the Parish Hall, Educational Building, and Vicarage added over the next 60 years.  St. Paul's began as a church to serve those who worked in the Cone Mill that helped revive the area economically following the devastation of the Civil War.  It was truly a "community church" with members living in the area and walking to church.  Still known to many in Salisbury as "the little church on the hill," it is strongly connected to the Chestnut Hill community, embued with an ecumenical view of ministry, and dedicated to the worship of God.
