The Korean church was started in 1981 by priests dispatched from Korea with approval from the Episcopal Diocese of Newark. Father Hogil Hilary Won, who currently serves the Korean Anglican Church, was initially sent from the Diocese of Daejeon and served in Toronto, Canada for about 9 years before starting his ministry at the All Saints Episcopal Korean Church in 2006.
