St. John's Church, Staten Island

Share a story

Church can be about many things. Here at St. John's it is about the three essentials of a healthy spiritual life: faith, family, and friends. For more than 179 years, the people of St. John's have experienced the power of faith to transform, the love of family to heal, and the camaraderie of friends to restore.

Today we continue to be such a parish, as multi-generational Staten Islanders gather with those newly arrived to the Island—whether from a neighboring borough, across the country, or across the globe.

St. John's is a thriving international parish that grows week by week as more and more people discover for themselves the essentials of a healthy, vibrant spiritual life.

Perhaps this is just the kind of parish you are looking for. Come and see for yourself if this is the place where your faith can grow, your family can thrive, and new friendships can be made.
