The Order of the Holy Cross is an Anglican monastic community for men founded in 1884 on the Lower East Side of New York City. Holy Cross Monastery is the principal location in North America and has been an active center of ministry and hospitality at this site since 1904.  Located on the banks of the Hudson River, Holy Cross provides accommodations for individual and group retreats and programs as well as day visitors.  The round of church services include four daily Offices and the Holy Eucharist and are always open to the public.  Brothers are available to offer spiritual direction.   The chapels, libraries, lounges and grounds offer a comfortable setting for all.  Closed Mondays.
