St. Thomas Episcopal Church

Share a story

Welcome to St Thomas! Nestled between two fraternity houses at Dartmouth College we are young and old, teachers and students, parents and children, old-timers and newcomers, families and individuals, skeptics and convinced — of an Episcopal parish in the Diocese of New Hampshire. We rejoice in the divine gift that is diversity, and welcome you to join us whatever your personal circumstances or faith background.

We worship God in a holy conversation incorporating timeless traditions, present realities, and dreams for the future.
We love in response to the divine mandate to love our neighbors as ourselves.
We serve others through the giving of time, talent, and treasure, both locally and globally.
We grow through a ceaseless questioning that is offered through our education programs for all ages.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral caregivers provide spiritual support to fellow parishioners in crisis. The caregiver offers a hand to hold and a heart to care. Caregivers cannot eliminate problems, but provide prayerful companionship to those confronting them. Pastoral Care is a ministry of presence — simple and profound. The clergy work with members of the Pastoral Care Committee to ensure that those who are unable to make it to church are also able to continue to participate in the ministry of the body of Christ. Those interested in learning more about Pastoral Care are encouraged to talk to The Rev. Jane Hague, Chair of our Pastoral Care Committee.

To help us fulfill our mission, parishioners may choose to provide clergy with their emergency contact information. To provide that information, download and complete the form below (available in Word and PDF format) and return it to the parish office.
