Saint Hugh of Lincoln Episcopal Outreach Center

This Ministry is centered at St. John's Outreach Center in Dayton. We are offering help to new mothers of babies from newborn thru one year old. This Ministry is providing help in several different ways - clothes, furniture, essentials, etc. Candidates for this ministry should complete a Registration Form and once qualified we would help them with donated goods.​ Contact St. Johns at (775) 246-2587

We are proud to raise and lower the flags at the Desert Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Silver Springs as part of our outreach ministry. The flags are raised on all official Flag Days.

Throughout the year, we will be collecting non-perishable foods for the Silver Springs and Stagecoach Food Pantry. We are also collecting unused coupons for the Pantry.

Operates outreach center distributing clothing and other items to clients and offers free breakfast monthly to everyone

This Ministry is also centered at St. John's. Here we offer clothes for school-age boys and girls. We have clothes of all sizes and application should be made to St. John's in Old Town, Dayton. Telephone (775) 246-2587

At the Outreach Center, we have the professional help of a resume writer and a hairdresser. Both are giving of their services free-of-charge. Candidates for the ministry should complete a Registration Form and once qualified, we would help them with donated goods. We supply the prospective "interviewee" with an outfit, which they will wear to any Job interviews they take part in. Once they have secured a position they may return to the Service center and receive a second outfit for work.

For any outreach to be a success, one of the most important ministries is that of Prayer in support of all that is going on. We have a "Captain of the Prayer Warriors" and would like to add to the team. This is something you can do from your own home. We at St. Hugh's never waver in our gratitude to those brave men and women who give of themselves to protect our country. One small way in which we show our support is by collecting toiletories and other personal items which are then given to a central office who send them overseas. The collecting box is proudly displayed at St. Hugh's.
