Holy Eucharist, Rite II. A service in contemporary English with music comprising a mix of contemporary Christian, Gospel, and hymns. Most of our young children and their parents attend this service, though a good number of adults enjoy it as well. The service includes two scripture lessons, a recited psalm, a short homily offered to the children, prayers, and Holy Communion. Note: during the seasons of Advent and Lent, this service uses Rite I, with English in the tradition of the King James Bible. It features our Adult Choir, leading the hymns and often offering an anthem. Three Scripture lessons, a recited psalm, a sermon, prayers and Holy Communion.
