Trinity is a growing, vibrant and family-oriented church community in south Baton Rouge near the campus of Louisiana State University.  We are a diverse people rooted in the culture and heritage of the Episcopal Church in southern Louisiana.  Trinity Church has a rich and distinguished history as a warm and accepting community of faith.  Our worship and ministry together are most important to us and all are welcome.

Rite I: This service is a Rite I service. Throughout the service, there is music provided by our Organist/Choirmaster.

Rite II: The Morning Glory Contemporary service takes place in our Trinity Day School Activities Building. It is the least formal of our services with a band providing the contemporary worship music. Childcare provided.

Children's Chapel- Following the school calendar, students in PreK-4th-grade share God's love during the 9 am and 11 am services.

Nursery care is available during the 9 am and 11 am services for infants-4-year-olds.

Rite II: This service is held in the Chapel section of the Sanctuary and has an abbreviated weekday sermon. Worshipers are invited to the Common Room for coffee, pastries, and discussion afterward.

Trinity Episcopal Day School

Career Services and Education

Trinity Episcopal Day School is a nurturing academic community created as an outreach of Trinity Episcopal Church. The school provides a well-rounded education in a Christian atmosphere.  Tolerance and mutual respect guide our every effort.The Day School's goal is to build a sound educational foundation in a secure, child-centered environment. They combine traditional teaching methods with progressive teaching techniques. The Day School's focus is the spiritual, social, emotional and physical development of each student.

Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge

Advocacy

Trinity Episcopal Church partners with the Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge through volunteerism and financial assistance. Parishioners assist in feeding the hungry in the Federation of Greater Baton Rouge's Holy Grill. Each Christmas Trinity Church adopts families through the Interfaith Federation and provides toys to the children.

Kairos Prison Ministry

Prison Services

Parishioners from Trinity Episcopal Church participate in the Kairos Prison Ministry.

About Kairos Prison Ministry:

Kairos is a Christian, volunteer, lay-led, ecumenical, international prison ministry in 31 states and in 8 other countries. We are called by God to visit the prisons and share the love of Christ with those impacted by incarceration. Kairos offers inmates the opportunity to receive God’s forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ, and to grow in their faith and servanthood in a Christian community on the prison compound. http://kpmifoundation.org

Food Pantries

Non-perishable food items are collected from church parishioners and the Trinity Day School families.  Bags are assembled and distributed to individuals and families who come to the church in need of food.

Prison Services
