ABOUT US

The people of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Santa Clarita, have been reflecting the Light of Christ since 1963. St. Stephen's parish is a member of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, and the Episcopal Church of  The United States - ECUSA -

Central to our beliefs is that we "respect the dignity of every human being." This is part of our Baptismal Vows, and we take it very seriously. We welcome with open arms people of all races, ethnicities, backgrounds, economic status and sexual orientation. And that most certainly includes you!

From this broad and firm foundation, we reach out in love and concern to our wider community both locally and around the world.

We follow the "Three-legged Stool of Anglican theology": Scripture, Tradition and Reason. Keeping these in balance helps us work together to proclaim God's message everywhere we go.

MISSION STATEMENT

To be a loving and inclusive community restoring people to unity with God and each other in Christ through prayer and worship. We are called to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people and to work, pray and give for fulfillment of God's realm.
