Older than the city of Kansas City, Kansas, older than the State, older than the Diocese, St. Paul's was organized in 1857 under the Episcopal auspices of Bishop Jackson Kemper, "First Missionary Bishop in the United States." St. Paul's rich historical and cultural legacy continues to be a vital presence in and resource for the community through many out-reach ministries. We use the Book of Common Prayer for our worship services. Holy Communion is the principal service on Sundays.
Join us every Sunday at 10am for Holy Eucharist

St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Kansas City, KS was named Parish of the Year (2011) by Episcopal Community Services. Their award is intended to recognize parishes, individuals and institutions which are exemplars in outreach service to the community. This was the third year the award has been given.
"St. Paul's Church is a grand place, a kind people, a situation of amazing leadership and talent for the size of its worshiping congregation. St. Paul's not only has been a faith community of church and community leadership, it still is with lay leadership in municipal, charitable and political leadership in Kansas City, KS. In my first month, I felt more connection with the greater community than any other place I have served. If you don't come and worship with us when you have a chance, you are missing out on a special opportunity!"
