St. Thomas Episcopal Church

Share a story

St. Thomas is a spiritually alive parish in Neenah-Menasha, Wisconsin. Congregants are from a wide geographical area with some traveling 30 miles to be a part of this Christian community.

Parishioners tell us the friendly, family like atmosphere draws them in. Members represent a cross section of northeast Wisconsin with current membership of about 800 baptized members from 250 households. On any given Sunday there are an average of 225 worshipers at both services. St. Thomas' central Fox Valley location allows it to serve the needs of the entire Valley and has helped make it the Episcopal church with the highest Sunday attendance in the Diocese of Fond du Lac.

Ministries and Spiritual Life

The many ministries and the spiritual life of St. Thomas revolve around our mission statement and vision.

We have strong lay involvement who give generously of time and talent. Along with regular worship services in the Anglican tradition, all are invited to learn and pray through a regular Sunday School, youth ministry program, adult formation opportunities and many Bible studies. A recent self-study showed a desire to attract more families and develop strategies to reach new people and incorporate them. It also showed that we are adaptable and are ready to explore what it may take to attract and reach out to others.

We believe what the Bible tells us and trust that God through the Holy Spirit will guide and strengthen us. God's blessings on our parish are evident every day as we continue to seek Him and live out our mission and vision.
