St. Luke's Episcopal Mission, Currituck, North Carolina

In 2013 there was an opportunity to purchase a former restaurant from a bank on a distress sale. We stepped out in faith and bought it. Remodeled, we are now in our own church in Currituck, North Carolina. Our first worship service was March 9, 2014, with all renovations completed in December, 2015.

Our first rector, Fr. Jim McGee, retired in June 2016 at the age of 87, and The Rt. Rev. David Bane, formerly of the Diocese of Southern Virginia, has been our celebrant since June 2016.
