Episcopal Chuch Of The Good Shephard

Share a story

All are welcome to worship with us.

The Episcopal Church of  The Good Shepherd welcomes all persons regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, socio-economic circumstance or religious background to our worshiping community and Eucharist table.  We welcome all who seek God and invite you into our efforts to be a positive voice in our city, the church, and the larger world around us.

Come join us as we seek to build the Kingdom of God in our souls, our lives, and our community on this fragile earth, our island home.

The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd is made up of a variety of folks--families, single people, college professors, graduate students, retired people, and those working in other professions.  We are a supportive group that gains strength from worshiping together and socializing together.

We are one of the churches contributing to the Loaves and Fishes food pantry, which serves many families in McDonough County.  We also volunteer at the Soup and More monthly dinners.

Plrase note: We were formerly known as St. George Episcopal Church
