St. James Episcopal Church

St. James seeks to be a community that grows more Christlike, expressing the love of Jesus Christ in our worship, our outreach, and our commitment to discipleship.

Our desire is to grow by imitating Christ in how he lived and walked.

Jesus was faithful in worship.  He attended the synagogue.  He celebrated the feasts in Jerusalem.  He sang hymns with his disciples.

Jesus  expressed God’s love in outreach.  He healed the sick.  He went to the outcasts.  He proclaimed good news to the poor.

Jesus was committed to discipleship.  He was a student of the Scriptures.  He prayed regularly.  He obeyed God’s will all the way to the cross.

St. James has a long and rich history of serving the Lord in worship, outreach, and discipleship, and we invite to join us as we seek to grow in Christlikeness.
