Retreat House
Owned and operated by St. Columba Parish, the retreat house occupies a four-floor summerhouse mansion built in 1930, in the small town of Inverness on the Point Reyes Peninsula. Nestled in the forested hills overlooking Tomales Bay, this center for worship offers individual retreats and group retreats, accommodating as many as 32 guests. St. Columba Retreat House features a full kitchen, dining and meeting areas, and private, semi-private, and dorm-style rooms for overnight lodging. Enclosed among the wooded hills is an outdoor Stations of the Cross and an outdoor Chapel with stone cross. Complementing the rustic feel of the retreat house is the open-beam sanctuary and adjacent chapel.

Online Worship
On Sundays, we invite you to join us on our Virtual Chapel for Morning Prayer. Our service consists of communal prayer, Lectionary readings, meditation, and a sermon. After our service, we break for 10 minutes before sharing in a virtual "Coffee Hour" where our facilitators lead us in conversation on a weekly spiritual theme.
You can also join us for noonday prayer weekly on Wednesdays and monthly Evensong in our Virtual Chapel.
Council for Ecological Discipleship
In a time of ongoing social and ecological upheaval, the St. Columba’s Council for Ecological Discipleship seeks to address the spiritual roots of our ecological crisis, grounded in the scriptural, theological, and spiritual wisdom of the Christian contemplative tradition.
We offer suggestions and opportunities for contemplative practice, personal action, and community collaboration that will help in building spiritual, personal, and collective responsiveness to the climate crisis.
We offer ongoing contemplative, educational, and advocacy-based resources to assist in keeping climate advocates informed, connected, supported and encouraged. We invite you to join any of our upcoming online book and film discussions.
Contemplative Community
During his tenure of service at St. Columba's, Fr. Vincent Pizzuto has drawn from his rich pastoral and theological background to nurture a growing and vibrant contemplative Christian community. Welcoming all who come into our doors, he continues to tend to the spiritual needs of our congregation while advancing our Retreat House as an internationally recognized Center for Contemplative Christianity.
