A traditional village church serving the mid-Hudson region, meeting God in beautiful reverent worship, thoughtful inspiring teaching, warm authentic community and loving service to our neighbors both near and far. A place to find and be found by God.
We are part of the Episcopal Church, part of the world wide Anglican Communion with over 70 million members, and a member of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany. Our tradition combines elements of both Protestant and Catholic worship. Our typical services include Bible readings, a sermon or homily by the priest and the celebration of Holy Communion. All baptized Christians from whatever Church background are welcome to receive communion in our church.
We are a small and friendly parish with an active parish life of fellowship, service and Christian Education for all ages. We value a sense of beauty and holiness in worship, growth in understanding our faith, concrete acts of Christian service and being a place where you can be known by name. St. Luke is the patron saint of the sick and those who work in the health care professions. He is also the patron of artists. Healing prayer is a regular part of our services and we look for ways to bless those who work in health care at every level and those who work in the arts.
We hope that you will find St. Luke's a place where you can find and be found by God and where you will find friendship and fellowship in Christ as we all grow in the knowledge, love and service of God and our neighbors.
