PRAYER AND COMMUNION AT HOME

Aging, Health and Wellbeing
Faith Formation

We try to visit those members who cannot join us for regular worship.  Our Eucharistic Visitors are lay persons licensed by the Diocese to take the Communion Bread and Wine to members of our congregation.

If you would like to have one of our Eucharistic Visitors or Clergy bring you communion at home,  please call the Church Office at (609) 296-9618 and let us know.  We will arrange for someone to come and visit for prayer and communion.

FOOD PANTRY

Food Pantries

Holy Spirit collects canned and dry goods to help stock a nearby food pantry throughout the year.  Several of our members volunteer at the food pantry and one of our Vestry members is a Director of the food pantry.

FOOD PANTRY COMMUNITY GARDEN

Food Pantries

Volunteers from Holy Spirit and the community have established a community garden in the area to the rear of the food pantry building on South Green Street.   Planting, maintaining and harvesting the garden will provide fresh produce to those in need through the food pantry this summer.

INTERFAITH HEALTH AND SUPPORT SERVICES

Aging, Health and Wellbeing

Holy Spirit has supported this interdenominational, non-profit group both financially and in manpower.  Volunteers provide transportation and assistance to the homebound, the elderly and those needing respite care.

FAMILY PROMISE

Shelter and Housing

We are a support parish in the Family Promise Program which provides homeless housing in local churches.  Congregants provide food, companionship and overnight vigils at churches.

STOP HUNGER NOW

Food Pantries
Meal Programs

Stop Hunger Now is an international hunger relief agency whose mission is to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-saving aid to the world's most vulnerable.  For the past several years, Church of the Holy Spirit has supported Stop Hunger Now by purchasing and packing meals to be shipped to areas selected by Stop Hunger Now.
